The Park itself is privately owned and extends to 50 Acres of pasture with direct access to the Lake. The Lake is a 1,000 Acre water reservoir which is owned by South West Water and operated by South West Lakes Trust. It is Cornwall’s premier brown trout fishery and fly fishing is open to the public until the 12th October 19 if they purchase a permit ( A monster 9lb 8oz brown trout was caught (and released) during the last weekend in July 18 so we know that it is a superb location to fish. Part of the pasture is set aside for wild camping in the peak seasons.
